Eventually I will stop. I've included some dusk images from the beginnings of the Huguenot Bridge construction. The most weird and disturbing day at the Pony Pasture was the one where I pulled in to paint, as I normally do, when I saw this deer head in the parking lot. Other visitors were there enjoying a nice day on the rocks and in the water. Beyond the surface irony, this disconnect stuck with me. My aim in showing it here isn't for gratuitous shock, but to account for the range of experiences I've had along the James River.
